Welcome to Ecclesia Life!
If you are visiting for the first time or currently a new attender, we understand that a new atmosphere can be somewhat unfamiliar territory. We don't want anything to take away from your experience while attending one of our services. So we have compiled a few topics that may bring clarity to some things you may notice within our services. The Name Most understand that God's name is not "God". He has the proper name "Yahweh". And His son, wasn't given the name of "Jesus", but Yahshua. We know that there is an absolute significant value in recognizing these names and we strive to declare them throughout our services. As Acts 4:12 states, "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved." Tithes & Offerings "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it". Malachi 3:10 The tithe means one-tenth of something, including our increase. We believe in the importance and significance of giving in offerings and tithes, as an act of worship, faith and obedience. During our worship service, we take the time, literally bringing what is required of us to give. Communion Yahshua said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." John 6:53-54 Communion is a practice that we should continually incorporate throughout our walk. It symbolizes who Christ is, what he did for us, and the hope that we have through him. It's important that we take the time to examine ourselves when given this opportunity. It shows the importance of our participation within the body of Christ as we strive to celebrate this holy time corporately with one another. Stationed within our services, you will find the elements needed to participate in communion. Feel free to partake as an individual, with your family and/or others within the body. The Ecclesia "Ecclesia" is a word meaning "an invitation to come out". It is the assembly and community of people who have accepted the invitation to come out of the world and into the kingdom of Yahweh. You may find this word throughout our services used in relation to "the Church". You can find more information on what the Ecclesia is here. |
